Pls. see my earlier post, I still have the same problem. If I place the file in the phoneplugin folder, do I have to place it in a specific subfolder or is it just ok to place the Nokia-6500.phoneplugin folder in 'phoneplugin' folder?

I just don't understand some have these problems and some don't have them?

Hope to get some help to solve this.

Thanks!

thanks for this plugin. however, i've got problems with it. i was able to successfully install the plugin but when i synchronize my phone with my macbook (leopard), it stops at 132 over my 583 contacts. I've tried all the versions beginning at version 2 up to the latest, still to no avail. I always got the same problem with the message "data transfer not possible. check data connection." help, anybody pls

Good work fella. Works for me. Any chance of adding sync for the 'Note' field as well?

I am trying to sync my Nokia 6500 classic with my mac (leopard & ISync),Isync recornises my phone and has even synchronised a little bit (calender). Nut now it has stopped working and I get the message: “There was an error getting data from the phone. The synchronization may have been canceled on the phone.
Device “Nokia 6500c” synchronization failed.”.

I have tried the solution mentioned above: "Restart iSync and restart bluetooth in your phone. Be sure to not have any dialogs open in your phone while syncing." But this doesn't work. Is there someone with a smart solution?

Thanks, Jorrit

The error with the synchronization is due to an error hwen placing the Nokia-6500.PhonePlugin in the wrong Library. A friend of mine had problems syncing when placing in an erroneous Library. Remembering that ~ means your homedirectory removes the problem...

Hi Neo&Yulia
I got the same message: “There was an error getting data from the phone. The synchronization may have been canceled on the phone. Device “Nokia 6500c” synchronization failed.”
I ended up deleting all calender events on my phone (turned off and on bluetooth as described in the beginning) and then it worked - a bit irritating though :(
