Hans Rosling (TED profile, Wikipedia) is a Swedish doctor and researcher famous for giving talks about the developing world and the connection of economics, poverty and life with the help of international statistics using moving, colorful and interactive graphs that even people without a degree in statistics can understand.
As stated on the ted.com website Mr. Rosling is going to hold a new talk this year. Take a moment to watch his talks if you haven’t done so yet because it probably will debunk some myths you might have about the third world countries today.
